The #Oilers take Dylan Holloway at 14th overall. Surprise pick in my opinion. Despite being the best NCAA player available in the draft. He had great numbers in Alberta Junior A as well. I’m excited to see what this young guy has to offer. I’m sure Holland knows what hes doing.

#Kings grab ahold of Byfield just as I expected with the 2nd overall pick. Big guy who will be a force for the kings and will in fact be a huge impact for the team. Power forward at center right behind Kopitar. Going to be special to watch.

Can’t go wrong with the #Sabres 1st round pick Jack Quinn! I believe they took the best available player in the draft at that pick. Future is bright for this young guy.

#LAK trade 2nd round pick in 2020 for Lias Andersson from #NYR Solid trade for both teams. Andersson needs to mature up a bit but the trade for a 2nd round pick might seem really good in the next few years. I say give it 3 years & we will see. Who do you think won?

#LAK trade F Brad Morrison to #CHI for D Olli Maatta Kings have to be extremely happy with this trade. Playoff experience & who can block shots & be that leader on the back end along side Doughty. Morrison didn’t show to much promise on exceeding past the AHL level anytime soon.

#BUF trade Marcus Johansson to #MIN for Eric Staal. This trade makes sense when you look at it from a teams need stand point. Sabres get a veteran player who can maybe help get them over the hump & into playoffs. Wild get a younger player who can move up & down lineup C/Wing.

#SJS trade a 3rd round pick in 2021 for Ryan Donato from #MIN At this point I would say trading is on easy for the Sharks. Donato is worth a 3rd round pick as of now. Bottom 6 forward that can skate fast & move the puck for good offensive zone time. Who do you think won?

#SJS trade a 5th round pick in 2022 for Devan Dubnyk & a 7th round pick in 2022 from #MIN Dubnyk I believe needs a fresh start & this might be the one he’s looking for. It could be a toss up for the starter in San Jose & I can’t wait to see who’ll earn it. Who do you think won?

I believe Mike Green would have shared the 3rd D pairing with Russell. Now that he’s opting out of the playoffs who do you see in that 3rd pairing? I might get a lot of flack for these picks but I’m gonna have to go with Russell & Benning.
