@weinberz @szetoinsitu @CterminiPhD I lived in Alexandria for a summer and commutes into dc using public transpo and it seemed pretty great (esp if you commuted from inside the district), amazing museums, food, public art, and performance art.

I am once again screaming into the void that if you use au*ible for audiobooks, you are throwing your money away libraries use a service called Libby that has the same content FOR FREE, all you need is a library card.

@TLowePower If youre at all able to, I think a lab tech in a lab I once worked in took the heating block out of an old thermocycler and that worked very well when put in an ice bucket

@dralhubb Yeah like others have said you could use the pcr product after either going through some kind of pcr cleanup/gel purification/exosap or honestly just try making a dilution of your pcr product (maybe 1:100/1:1000???) and using that as template

@P0NYR0NI Yeah sometimes the tums just don’t get there if it’s especially ferocious. If that’s the case I usually just keep my upper body elevated, try not to drink/eat anything additionally, stretch out the stomach, and try to consciously push it down
