If you know anything about Horn Island or even coastal culture, again, most folks do not take their phones with them when they have to jump off a boat into waist deep water or higher in order to reach the shore of Horn Island. The boats were three to four deep parked off the island. (Also, there was barely any reception there.) Nolan was with a large friend group of about 30-40 people who came over on several boats. There were still other friends there when the original group left because of their defective bilge pump. Totally normal to catch a ride in another friend's boat. Keep up.

Hackers, computer security experts, intelligence community members, and many others get together to discuss ideas, threats, and to hold hacking contests. Jane Harman served nine terms in Congress, sat on all the major security committees, and was the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee. She also is President of the Woodrow Wilson think tank and sits on numerous security advisory boards. Harman: The 2020 election is not secure. At least a third of all voting machines are totally vulnerable. Lieu and Harman were there because DEF CON had recently held a "voting village" where hackers attempted (and succeeded) in hacking into our voting machines. Teenagers were even able to hack into some machines. Ted Lieu urged the hackers to meet with media and to speak out about how vulnerable our voting machines are. Lieu said the public needed to know how vulnerable our elections are. Lieu also criticized McConnell for not passing election security legislation that would require paper trails for all votes. 😂 Democrats and the media regularly spoke about the vulnerabilities of our elections, all the way up until the 2020 election. Immediately after the 2020 election it became forbidden to question the security of our elections. They all just began reciting the talking point "It was the most secure election ever."

BIG PICTURE: China/CCP collects massive amounts of data (buying, stealing or hacking) to exploit vulnerabilities. President Trump said tonight the CCP's operations obtained 220 million voter records. In 2015, 22 million security clearance applications, known as the SF 86 (it's a road map to your life) were hacked by China. The threat comes from combining the data: weaponizing voter roles, health care records, and security clearance applications can build an entire profile of a US citizen. This can be used for fraudulent voter registration, identity theft, targeting US citizens for recruitment by China.
