@realevabest As funny as this story might sound, that is the price you can pay for the Nigerian type of politics where everyone wants to be the party flag bearer by all means.

He didn’t say how much he was given to mobilise his supposed supporters. Nigerian politicians are greedy, and he has shown he is one of them. A man who could not explain how the government has bettered lives in Borno now tells Nigerians he has returned to the APC because things have improved. Most people fail to realise the 2023 wave succeeded because the Obidients saw qualities most Nigerian politicians lack and sought change to stop the theft of our money over the years. That is why even an okada driver could win, showing a child of a nobody can rise to any level. But most of these candidates joined the bandwagon. In 2027 Nigerians will push for that change again. Anyone wanting immediate gains can join the APC, but Nigerians still want an end to underdevelopment, poverty, corruption, insecurity, displacement from their lands, kidnappings and paying ransom. You don’t need appreciation if you are genuinely fighting for a good cause.

So after Wike’s interview yesterday where he said the Rivers state belongs to Tinubu, Isaac Fayose has now come out this morning and wants to bet with Wike with his Royce rolls and 1 billion Naira that Peter Obi will win the entire Rivers state before 12 noon on election day😂✨

This should be the question, not painting a picture of one person making sacrifices to be with a disadvantaged Peller who didn’t go to school or is younger, bla bla bla. Nigerians also like optics, which is why in our society we pursue the wrong things and celebrate the wrong people. Now let’s do the maths and extrapolate: Obi on his own, with no structure or even former big-name politicians, got in 2023: 6,101,533 and 25.40%. So minus Obi’s vote from their 2019 outing and you get 5,161,445. From this, Atiku’s solo outing in 2003 yields 2,523,597. So who should be claiming the pathway? Atiku can never do well in a contest without relying on people and structure. Today he has picked Rotimi Amaechi as running mate; let’s see if their votes will not turn out like in 2003. It might go up a bit because of all the former governors and politicians in the ADC, but it will not win the elections. If Obi had a strong running mate like he has now in 2023, we would not be talking about APC in power today. Kwankwaso had 1,496,687 and if he was on Obi’s side there would have been more northern support and a lot more political capital up north, and with his movement 2023 would not have ended like that. So wait for the results in 2027 and you will understand that when the people want a change and they choose a vehicle to drive that change, there is nothing that can stop it. The vehicle is Obi/Kwankwaso and it has nothing to do with Obasanjo.

He is contesting now when northerners will not give him full support. Even Buhari, with his cult following, won in 2015 with full northern support plus southern votes. He should always calculate well. It is still the South’s turn and the North is unhappy with Tinubu, so as a wise politician he should offer Kwankwaso the VP slot as Tinubu did with Osinbajo. Support @KwankwasoRM and @PeterObi then start the process for 2031. The North will listen and support him as an elder statesman and ask Kwankwaso to let him run. Instead he is trying to force the North against the North-South convention, and they will not agree. Just watch. His chances are slim. @PeterObi will win South-South (Rivers is in the bag for Obi unless results are written otherwise) and the entire South-East. @PeterObi will split the votes in the South-West and win the North-Central. The battleground will be the core North where the three candidates will battle it out. Peter Obi has an advantage with a vice from the KKK states, and Kano has the highest votes in that zone, while Tinubu has a vice from the same North-East zone as Atiku. So who do you think should support whom from this analysis? All @PeterObi needs is a free and fair election to be sworn in as next president come 29 May 2027. The party in power knows this, which is why you see all efforts from buying and sharing buses, city boys and rainbow coalition, plus ensuring all governors, senators and representatives are in one party. But with free and fair elections, even 90% of current NASS members will not return. @SimFubaraKSC There are decisions you take that make you lose relevance. That is what happened to you. The people gave you relevance, but you chose one man over them. Even God is angry with you because you threw his support away.

If you even want to go that way, even RCCG members won’t vote for your candidate. You think Protestant Christians are blind or they leave in a different planet. You forget that Pentecostal churches are the most affected by the insecurity in Nigeria across the North and South. You better realise that this election is between ADC and NDC. Your candidate is not even in the picture going by the fault lines you are trying to create Atiku and Kwankwaso will share Northern votes then Peter Obi and Amaechi will share southern votes. Nigerians are tired of you guys.

When a man moves from being a mayor to contesting and winning a seat as an MP with overwhelming support and ends up as Prime Minister then you have to wonder what kind of a person he is. But when he goes ahead to deliver a successor as a mayor then you should stop saying he doesn’t have a mandate. Politics, elections and governance should be about what the people want and not what a few MPs are saying. @andyburnham is an extraordinary leader and he is loved by both his people and his party. I can see another Labour government in the next general elections. Since assuming office, you can feel that the polity has experienced some kind of calmness and tranquility . Please if I may ask a favour, can we have our political atmosphere this quiet as we head towards the next general elections and make it people centred and issue based rather than point scoring or making headlines

Lagos is in the bag just do free and fair elections even in the northern states @PeterObi will win both Tinubu and Atiku. Is like this people no understand say Nigeria Dey vex. When even a person who earns in the hundreds monthly can’t afford protein in their meal we are talk about reward this government. Atiku is the same if not worst. He won’t live a modest life as a president but Peter will. Kwankwaso will. You must look at people’s life style today to tell how their tomorrow with more money will be. A word is enough for every wise Nigeria. Una money is used to squander on frivolities. Let’s stop it in 2027. 3 years budget gone and nothing to show for it

I’m not saying rotation is in the constitution but is think it is selfish for Atiku who opposed GEJ and walked out of eagle square because of power rotation as per it is the turn of the north to be contesting when it is not the turn of the North this time around. He messed up the 2023 elections and destroyed the PDP and today he is trying to do the same thing again in 2027.
