@9to5mac @iryantldr I really hope they go with iPhone Fold. Calling it an ultra to me means everything the iPhone Pro has and then some.
I've had the same thing happen on long agentic sessions, it tends to correlate with how much context the session has built up. If it's been running for hours with a huge chat history, restarting Claude Code entirely (not just the app) and starting a fresh session with a shorter, more specific prompt usually fixes it for me. One giant "build the whole game" prompt is asking a lot of a single context window.
@UniverseIce Honestly here for the weird form factor, not scared of it. A screen that's part square part round means new gestures and new UI ideas, that's exactly the kind of shakeup iOS needs.
@SledgeDev Same workflow here, SwiftUI first then AI-assisted Kotlin port. Only thing I don't let it auto-port is navigation, Android users expect back-button behavior that doesn't map cleanly from iOS gestures.
The free Private Cloud Compute for small developers is the part that could matter most to me. Right now the on-device eligibility check is a black box though, deviceNotEligible with zero detail on why. If Apple wants to be the router, that opacity needs to go for developers even if it stays hidden from users.
@AnghanMeet29 The "building in public is the outreach" line hit hard, I kept mine separate from actual outreach for way too long. Your Play Console rejection story matches App Store review too, they don't check the number, they check if the test was real. Rooting for day 31.

@Shivam_v99 Right, that's where I slow down and read every line myself. Schema changes and migrations are the one category where a subtle mistake doesn't just break a build, it corrupts data you can't easily undo.
Preordered the Z Fold8 the second it went live and still got pushed back 2 weeks. Feels like foldable launches just come with a built in delay tax at this point, demand outpacing supply every single year.
One thing I do miss switching to the Watch Ultra2, the haptics. Apple's just stronger and more precise there, Samsung hasn't caught up on that front yet even with everything else being genuinely solid.
The health tracking on the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 caught me off guard, it's actually ahead of my Apple Watch Ultra in a few spots. Recovery and daily readiness data feels more detailed than I expected. Didn't think I'd be saying that.
@MrNiceGuyHaHa @DevotedDividend VTEB makes total sense at 10 years out, tax free income in a taxable account is a different game than what I'm doing. My no bond stance only works because I've got decades left, that math flips hard once you're within a decade of needing it.

@michalraczka Containerizing it just for bypass mode is smart, isolates the blast radius from your actual filesystem. I still won't run bypass near my App Store repo even sandboxed, too much of my rules file lives in the repo itself for a container to enforce.
@Miggitas @LeakerApple Same call on a couple of my own app icons actually, the glass effect looks great in an App Store preview but gets muddy sitting on a busy home screen wallpaper. Flat icons with good contrast still read faster at a glance than anything with a glossy highlight on it.
@twannl Not needing an open workspace matters most for running agents overnight without babysitting Xcode. The unsafe-always-allow-all-agents flag makes me nervous though, that's a lot of trust to hand a coding agent while you're not watching.
@MrNiceGuyHaHa @DevotedDividend VOO plus VTI is a lot of overlap, VTI already owns basically all of VOO plus small and mid caps. I keep it simpler with just VTI and VXUS, no bonds since my horizon is decades out. At 55 with $4M your bond allocation question matters way more than mine does though.
@film42 That answers it, 64% of your context is messages before it even starts working. At that size it's not really Opus getting worse, it's Opus trying to reason over a haystack. I compact way earlier now, closer to 40% used, and the slipping mostly went away for me.
