@Sarathc79533990 On-device with a one time price is exactly the combo. I shipped the same shape on iOS this weekend, moved my PDF app's chat from a Gemini server to Apple Intelligence, and once inference stopped billing me per user the one time price stopped being scary.
@JerryCardsUSA The detail that sells it for me: the photo itself never goes up, only sensor signatures and a hash reach Private Cloud Compute for the check. Prove the minimum, keep the rest on the phone. Same bet I ship my apps on.
@sirmarbug App Store Connect splits page views by source type, search, browse, referrer. That split usually names the culprit before any guessing, a browse dip points at featuring rotation, a search dip at a keyword slipping. Worth checking before touching the page itself.
@its_dilip_singh From a 43 follower account, one data point for the road: 4 of my last 7 followers came from replies I left on other builders' posts, not from my own posts, which land 10 to 70 impressions at this size. The 14 day kill deadline is the healthiest part of the plan.
@getajobprachi One paid user finding the break is a rite of passage. The purchase path is the one place I over test, SKTestSession runs full StoreKit purchase flows inside unit tests, so the first real buyer is not also the first tester. Congrats on the 150.
@_prophet_futu Economics carries a lot of it. iOS is where users actually pay, so polish has a budget. It is why all three of my apps are native Swift on one platform instead of cross platform on two.
@mateusz_palak Congrats on getting the player out on all three at once. Is the audio generated on device or server side? I just moved my app's AI fully on device and text to speech is the one modality I have not touched there yet.
If the setup already works I would leave it. I hand write StoreKit 2 across my apps, subscriptions in one, one time unlocks in another, and the modern API plus SKTestSession covers what I used to want a wrapper for. RevenueCat earns its fee on cross platform receipts and team dashboards, migrating a working subscription layer mostly buys you a new place for bugs.
@SlowbrewedS Building the store artboards in SwiftUI has a real edge, the screenshots can never drift from the actual UI. Figma mockups age the moment you redesign one screen.
@kishanknows Coming from UIKit the syntax lands in a couple of weeks. Unlearning the view controller habit took me months, and it only clicked once I rebuilt one real screen from my own app instead of following a course.
@AshirMehmood96@twostraws That parent-offers, child-picks model pays off for years. When a view seems to ignore your frame anyway, fixedSize and layoutPriority are the two knobs on that negotiation, worth meeting early.
@amorllc0129 Mine cleared yesterday after two weeks in the queue, and I spent part of the wait writing pricing docs for a product with no users either. The waiting brain needs somewhere to go, retention curves beat refreshing App Store Connect.
@DewwUday I flipped one app the other way this week, subscription out, one time lifetime unlock in, so your thread is well timed. What actually moved the needle, the price change itself or where the paywall sits?
@franksignorini@X ParsleyPDF, an iOS app for chatting with your PDFs. 3.0 shipped yesterday, the whole AI layer moved off a Gemini server onto the phone with Apple Intelligence.
@FilipCoder Vaely's site is static Astro too, no CMS, and nothing to maintain is the point when the app eats all your time. The five pillar guides are the part I never got to, interested whether they actually move installs.
A custom ButtonStyle gets you past that: configuration.isPressed exposes the pressed state, so highlight and release behavior stay yours. For raw touch down and up there is onLongPressGesture with minimumDuration 0 and onPressingChanged. The ButtonStyle route is what I use for pressable cards in my puzzle app.
@pfernan95dev Congrats, zero to 1k in 10 days is fast. Your split matches my data at a much smaller scale, 3 of my last 5 followers traced back to replies rather than posts. The technical post most mornings is the part I keep skipping.
The free tier is unlimited now: chat, summaries and quizzes on up to 3 documents, no account needed. Pro is a one time $29.99. Existing subscribers keep Pro without paying again.
ParsleyPDF 3.0 is out. The AI used to run on a Gemini server. Now the whole thing runs on your phone with Apple Intelligence, works offline, and your documents never leave the device. Deleting the server also meant deleting the consent screen, there is nothing left to consent to. Needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later on iOS 26. apps.apple.com/app/parsleypdf…
