Since the current entrance did not receive the new paint scheme, I’m banking it’s almost a guarantee that the mystery facility next to Haunted Mansion will be a new queue and entrance.

I really don't understand the logic behind removing fun and whimsy, especially at Disney. It costs money to do these renovations, and from what I can see it doesn't save any money. Is it just mindlessly following trends?

@PMuehlbeyer @DrewDisneyDude I second this. He ruined Phantom Manor's story. It shouldn't have surprised any of us that he was gonna give Melanie a Constance-ish treatment. I believe he was also involved with the movie updates finally coming to their POTC, which ruined the carefully crafted flow and plot.

@jas_cant_hang @WDWNT I ran into him at the last D23 Expo and he told me his favorite part of that refurb was "cleaning up the story." 🤦🏼‍♂️ I didn't want to start anything or draw any bad attention, but how badly I wanted to tell him that he ruined it. He didn't clean it. He changed it for the worse.

Tbh, the removal of the scanners doesn't surprise me. Like everything else in the venue, it was outdated. If the other games get removed next, I hope Universal will breathe new life into the pavilion. It definitely needs it.

The removal of the Rock Wall scanners at the Jurassic Park Discovery Center is permanent. They covered the gap and placed the JP logo over the sign's wording about the scanners. First Beasaur, then baby Tric, and now this. If you love JPDC, enjoy and cherish what's left of it.

@disneyglimpses The anger also comes from changes that were unnecessary. Changes that did nothing to enhance the experience. Rather, they hurt the attraction. WDW Hatbox Ghost, new pirate at DL, Rocket Rods, and taking out the Great Movie Ride to name a few things.

The only things they should do to Space Mountain: • replace the track • make the vehicles and queue more accommodating • add in-vehicle audio • replace the former video game screens in the queue with new scenery Keep everything else as is.
