@thestud1990 @skytv Same. If you look on Sky Community under Sky Q or Sky +, are lots of people having the same problem. Common link appears to be that everyone has TalkTalk. Hopefully, it gets sorted out soon.

According to credible sources, the Harlem Eubank fight on C5 Friday night had a rating of 350k, not the 1.7m being falsely claimed by the promoter. In fact, if you look at C5's usual numbers for shows, 1.7m is completely ridiculous.

DAZN has lower average viewership numbers than Sky, TNT & ESPN. Creating a super-sized Boxnation in the UK & USA markets is not going to solve that problem. I like the idea but to actually bring in the required numbers, especially to market successful PPV's (they currently rely heavily on Sky) it needs considerable work and a more diverse sports portfolio in those markets. Creating a bespoke combat sports product is challenging.

Serious bit of creative writing here. Claiming the quality of Sky's shows hasn't decreased under Boxxer is pure delusion. As is criticising the coverage boxing gets from the BBC who actually do a very good job, including in the lead up to Wardley/Clarke. Pointless puff piece sucking up to Sky & Boxxer while criticising the BBC for no reason.

Max will launch in the UK market in 2026, bringing to an end an exclusive 15-year deal between HBO & Sky. Sky's entertainment offering has already diminished considerably following the launch of both Disney+ and Paramount+. The main selling point is now content from HBO. The loss of this will inevitably lead to changes to the current Sky packages available. Max could see a link up with Sky like Paramount+ as a viable option at an additional cost. Sky's subscriber base has been slowly declining in recent years, and 2026 will be a pivotal year for them with the almost total collapse of their entertainment offering. #HBOMax

With more accusations from The Sunday Times regarding cash payments made in envelopes by Boxxer, the BBBofC should step in and suspend his licence until it has been investigated. At the very least, it is unprofessional and highly unusual behaviour and certainly not what you would expect from a reputable business representing a major broadcaster. Looks like increasingly poor decision-making from Sky when choosing a new promotional company.
