@InfographicTony @xdNiBoR @StarshipGazer While this part on the nosecone is off nominal for flight hardwere, it is now obvious that this is not in that category. This is a test tank like B18.3, B18.1 etc. Seeing holes in test tanks is very common. They will most likely test the header tanks by pushing through this holes

@JamesAbbott2013 ground based astronomy. So while ground based astronomy gets impossible, now you can use the rocket that was built by money made by "polluting" satellites and launch better telescopes into space and with how advanced Starship will be you can launch A LOT and get more science

@JamesAbbott2013 I think you need to read more carefully. My point is that when SpaceX gets Starship operational (which will use the income from LEO satellites) they will launch so many satellites that ground based astronomy will be pointless because space telescopes will be way better then ⬇️

@JamesAbbott2013 You can put gigantic solar panels, radiators lenses, mirrors, etc in it. (Also, you can launch many many of them as the launch cadence increases.) and launch off the atmosphere, which will make ground based astronomy meaningless, so in the end, it's for the better astronomy

Continuous sunlight is scarce on the Moon unless you know where to look. 🌑 The lunar poles contain "peaks of eternal light," areas bathed in near-continuous sunlight. Power Tower mounts on Blue Moon MK1's top deck and extends solar arrays to 26 meters total height to capture that energy and deliver sustained power for Moon Base operations.
