Happy 193ʳᵈ Birthday to James Clerk Maxwell, the man who revolutionized our understanding of electromagnetism. Maxwell's most significant scientific contribution was the formulation of Maxwell's equations. These four equations, which Maxwell presented in his 1865 paper "A Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic Field," describe how electric and magnetic fields interact and propagate. By unifying the theories of electricity and magnetism, Maxwell demonstrated that these two phenomena are interconnected aspects of a single fundamental force: electromagnetism. Maxwell's equations elegantly describe how electric charges produce electric fields (Gauss's law for electricity), how magnetic monopoles do not exist (Gauss's law for magnetism), how changing magnetic fields induce electric fields (Faraday's law of induction), and how electric currents and changing electric fields produce magnetic fields (Ampère's law with Maxwell's addition). This framework provided a comprehensive understanding of the behavior of electric and magnetic fields and laid the groundwork for much of modern physics. One of Maxwell's most profound insights was his prediction of electromagnetic waves. By manipulating his equations, he showed that oscillating electric and magnetic fields could propagate through space at the speed of light. This discovery led to the realization that light itself is an electromagnetic wave, fundamentally changing our understanding of optics and opening the door to the development of modern communications technologies. The prediction and subsequent experimental confirmation of electromagnetic waves by Heinrich Hertz in the late 1880s validated Maxwell's theory and demonstrated its far-reaching implications. Beyond electromagnetism, Maxwell made significant contributions to other areas of physics. His work on the kinetic theory of gases provided a statistical basis for understanding the behavior of gases, leading to the development of the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution law. This work laid the foundation for statistical mechanics, a critical branch of theoretical physics. Maxwell's contributions extend to the fields of thermodynamics, color vision, and the study of Saturn's rings, showcasing his broad scientific curiosity and influence.

Here are 20 short stories to celebrate Scudetto 20 A Scudetto can bring so many secrets. Many of it happen behind the scene, many of it are in the details that together they can (and in this case, they did) make a difference. Inter have shown to be a strongly cohesive and determined group since last summer. Let's tell 20 stories on how Inter were able to achieve Scudetto 20. 1⃣ - Istanbul, regret and pride Much of this Inter side was born in the second half of last season, specifically the journey that led to the Champions League final in Istanbul. Here, we can reveal what the players said to each other on the night they returned to Milan: "We will restart on this foundation this July. If we were one step away from the roof of Europe, then in Italy we can create a massive void." From that team, the changes were significant: 12 different players and half of the coaching staff. But those remained conveyed the message from Istanbul to the new ones. 2⃣ - The slap in the face by Lukaku The dressing room, and this is such a well-known story now, was heavily influenced (in negative way) and disappointed by the evolution of Romelu Lukaku's case. This was the way of wearing the armband chosen by Lautaro: when a decision had to be made, Toro always talked to the group, especially the Italians. And the same goes with the discussions that they had with the club throughout the season. One armband, but many captains. 5⃣ - First rule: have fun Who says the work culture can't be fun? If the working environment is healthy, then productivity increases. And above all, it allows the coexistence of personalities who have been together for some time. The air we breathed in Appiano Gentile this season was profoundly different from that of the Conte era. Thuram's clothing is never banal. His teammates noticed it from the very beginning: always over the top, sometimes colorful, sometimes in all black, and with an exaggerated passion for sneakers. So much so that at a certain point, it became a gag in Appiano: teammates joked and tried to guess how Marcus would arrive dressed that day. But no one has ever got the prediction right. Thuram has always surprised everyone. 1⃣0⃣ - Inzaghi's superstitions How superstitious the Inter coach is is a well-known story. It's impossible for him to change his jacket after a victory. But now, it has become the go to soundtrack in the Inter dressing room. 1⃣2⃣ - The conversation with Sanchez Behind Thuram and Lautaro, there are two players who are on a decline. Yet, Arnautovic was appreciated as a glue in the dressing room: there is no one that does not love him. Marko, himself, never complained about his role. This trio is very close to one another, linked by sincere friendship off the pitch, truly symbolizes the good humor of it all even with little playing time. 1⃣7⃣ - The 6:50 pm rule The Inter bus always leaves at 6:50 pm for those matches that start at 8:45 pm. Always the same time, with the aim of entering the San Siro exactly an hour and a quarter before kick-off. This is more than just a superstition, it is a strategy. Because Inzaghi is convinced that arriving at the Meazza too early is an emotional surplus to be avoided for the players, who would risk losing a bit of focus for the match. 1⃣8⃣ - Bastoni and Darmian: the brains Don't try to argue with these two because you will come out of it defeated. Don't try to trick them because they know everything. They are the brains of Inter. Vorrei condannare personalmente quanto accaduto questa mattina alla manifestazione pro Palestina, corteo promosso da Cambiare Rotta, tra gli latri, partito da Piazza Dante e fermato all'ingresso di Piazza dei Cavalieri. Quello che è successo è di una gravita inaudita. Non c'è alcuna giustificazione tra la violenta carica della Polizia e le proteste dei ragazzi che, in corteo, stavano gridando "Palestina libera". Rischio di problemi di ordine pubblico? A volte non ci si può rifugiare solo nella narrativa del "sì, ma la manifestazione non era autorizzata". Stiamo parlando di ragazzi anche minorenni manganellati e mandati al pronto soccorso, con zaino in spalla, senza fumogeni, armi e senza l'intento di colpire nessuno. A riprova della cattiva gestione è come è stato concepito il blocco che ha creato un imbuto davanti al Russoli. La Polizia non voleva far passare da un lato, il gruppo di studenti dall'altro premeva perché si era creata una calca da dietro. Così è avvenuto il contatto. Nessuna via di fuga, solo manganellate e studenti gettati a terra. A prescindere da tutto si vedono scene di ben altra gravità da parte di folle di manifestanti o protestanti in ben altri contesti, con caschi, bastoni e scudi improvvisati a volto coperto. Qui non c'è stato niente di tutto questo. Chi ha gestito la cosa ha sbagliato su tutta la linea. Solidarietà agli studenti, "colpevoli" di voler esprimere un pensiero, che anche se schierato, come tutti i pensieri scomodi, merita comunque di essere rispettato. E' la costituzione che ci garantisce il diritto alla manifestazione e questo clima che si sta vivendo a Pisa da un paio di mesi, che unisco senza problemi anche a gestioni con spiegamenti di forza troppo esagerati anche per semplici partite di calcio, è intollerabile. Leggo che diverse forze politiche e istituzioni, anche la stessa scuola Russoli che si è trovata studenti feriti dentro la scuola, hanno condannato il gesto. Giustamente Vergogna, vergogna, vergogna.
