Good morning all & OTD in 1953, the Korean War armistice came into effect. Over 17,000 Australians served in the Korea war from 1950 to 1953, with 340 Australians KIA & 1,216 Australians WIA. Sadly, it still remains Australia's "Forgotten War".

@DrewPavlou @GreensSA is not even curious about migrant communities. I worked in the multicultural portfolio for @alpsa from 1994 until retirement in 2018. Only once in all that time did @GreensMPs turn up to an event. Not once have @Greens issued material in languages other than English.

@Greens organise protests outside the ALP Conference, as they do for most State & National Labor conferences. They are sufficiently menacing for delegates to require police protection. Labor never organises protests outside @GreensSA conferences. Media not admitted to those.
