Bring these ingredients up to a boil until the salt and sugar has dissolved, then pour over the top of your vegetables in a mason jar. Let cool completely, then store in your fridge. You can add all kinds of spices or aromatics; my favorites are: Peppercorns Garlic cloves Bay leaves Mustard seeds Star anise Fresh dill I encourage you to experiment and see what you like best! You can do this with literally any vegetables, and is a great way to preserve them. These will be good to eat in just a few hours, and can last in the fridge up to 6 months.

I'm going to be unpopular for saying this, but I'm in favor of data centers when they are handled like Florida's new law that was recently signed by Gov DeSantis. Outright bans or pauses (i.e., Gov Hochul in NY) hurt the whole country, and technology is the future. I'm pretty sure that no one in China is protesting the building of data centers. And China is in full competition mode with the US on the AI infrastructure. They are vigorously building data centers in an effort to surpass our technology. Florida has placed specific guidelines on data centers and is serious about passing along the costs to the companies and not the residents. In the meantime, the community will benefit from tax revenue and new jobs. Just my opinion.
