@LXGear @Robert_C_W @SMetaldave64 DK has outsold mainline Zelda games multiple times. Donkey Kong Country was the 3rd best-selling SNES game, and Donkey Kong 64 was the 7th best-selling N64 game. It's true that Nintendo has mismanaged the DK series after the N64, but it's still a lot bigger than people think.

That Donkey Kong Country Returns remaster is a bit disappointing visually, and it’s upsetting to see people screeching “JUST ENJOY THINGS!” when the original had such an incredibly specific and well-honed art direction. Not caring about whether that’s preserved feels ill informed
