I recently attended one of the largest conferences in the property management industry. One big takeaway: fraud is a massive issue among prospective tenants (and increasingly so)! Property managers need to leverage tech. to combat the rise in fraud and protect their clients!

The biggest mistake I see rental property owners making is... Pricing their property too high (especially in this market). Vacancy is expensive! And competition is tough these days!

I still don't think it is a bad idea to buy at current rates! Thoughts?
Thinking about buying an investment property? Option 1: You buy now with higher interest rates, but you get some concessions from the seller and have more properties to choose from (less competition from other buyers). You can always refinance later... right?
Option 2: You wait to buy, hoping rates come down. But if they do, you can be sure many more buyers enter the market. You'll likely lose out on the opportunity to get concessions from sellers and you will have increased competition from other buyers (fewer deals to choose from).
