Missing link should be primarily for heavy vehicles, especially the uphill part. The risk on the downhill part should be mitigated using runaway ramps in multiple spots. The slope in missing link is lower than old expressway anyway.
Politicians really are braindead, no words on the car who was out to murder and possibly drunk but the first thought is to ban trucks from a vital expressway to save time and fuel costs, the only one responsible for this accident is the car driver

There was a massive traffic pile up along the Coastal Road owing to the blaze in the tunnel at 12.30pm. Now both sides of the tunnel have opened up.

Mumbai monorail undergoing final trials with the new rakes after services were halted in Sept 2025 following a series of technical issues. The network has since been extensively modernized with new trains, upgraded Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling, and comprehensive track refurbishment.
