Lenses looking for a home.
Some more vintage Olympus objectives, that have held their value throughout the years. Cleaning and correction collar overhaul was needed. Unfortunately, looks like the 40x will need a lens replacement.
Olympus 20x and 40x objectives with correction collar issues. The lenses needed to be fully disassembled, old gunky grease needed to be removed, and new slick grease applied.
First time working on this brand. Seiwa UV Plan Apo 20x. Huge lens.
Some lenses in for repair. The Nikon S FL has a spring retraction issue.
Full disassembly needed for these correction collar overhauls. Does your lens have issue??? Come hollar at your boy.
Correction Collar issue on these bad boys. Turn around time= 1 day. Let's get them up and running.
We don't receive this lens too often. Fun to work on. Don't forget to be mindful of the stage when switching magnifications, friends.
Shot out to Dane Wider for these spare objectives. Will try to Humpty Dumpty them up for a new home.
Don't think any oil is getting through that seal.
This Nikon CFI Apo 25x LWD had a cracked seal. The customer didn't want to wait 6 months for parts or replacements, so we put the pieces back together and got him back and running within a week. Not the prettiest job, as we needed the seal to be durable.
Some dry objectives with oil inside..... because sometimes things happen.
@paravatar @knotwood There is a pretty modern 16x from Nikon, and of course the Nikon Apo 25x 1.1N.A Water immersion.
40 and 63x Leica in for repair. New seals were applied for added protection on inverted microscopes.
