@libbyemmons Yes. I’m a business owner and if one of my employees liked or posted or told or, yes, laughed at a racist or homophobic or cruel joke then yep, I don’t want them in my community. Their freedom is to do it. Mine is to excuse you from my community.

@libbyemmons You DO know that gender affirming care is not just about surgery. When parents throw their lgbtq kids out, abuse their kids, when their language is anger. They are Experts? Just bc one is a parent does not mean they know it all. Many have lots to learn & that’s ok. Learn.

@sesmith Subjectively bad. This was HER experience (and that of many others). YOU and others may not like her take but why is it ok for you to tell her how to feel or express it? I mean, don’t like it, move on or focus on the culprits who MAKE folks feel that fat is a bad word.
