However, despite our enormous on the ground success, we're really struggling to convince funders, who very often don't understand the on the ground situation, that we have something truly innovative here. So if you have any advice on that angle then we are all ears! Thanks 😇😊
As it stands we are a multi-award winning, open source project with a groundbreaking methodology and a co-ownership model, proven to work and co-produced with older people in one of the most disadvantaged areas in the country.
We're currently figuring out what's next for PlaceCal as a tool for mutual aid group coordination. We're looking for (a) local community partnerships and (b) national health and wellbeing charities for the next step of our journey. Drop us a DM/email if you wanna have a chat!
