Israel was damned if they did and damned if they didn’t go into Gaza. The resulting coverage was a PR nightmare, exactly what Hamas and its allies wanted. I’m also unsure these highly impressionable young people will hold the same views in 10 or 20 years. Occupy Wall Street, BLM, and other intersectional movements peaked and faded. These movements often have a short shelf life, especially as they become increasingly irrelevant.

Thank you, @lpachter. I wish this were a longer longitudinal study, on the order of 5–10 years, with changes analyzed across multiple cohort bins. As presented, the peaks feel too good to be true. Also, John Quackenbush posted a BioRxiv analysis that these “waves” are likely artifacts of the statistical methods, not true biological signals. biorxiv.org/content/10.648…

Pakistan has one of the weakest passports on Earth. The vast majority of countries in the world won’t let Pakistanis in without a visa. Apparently the passport needed one more restriction, so Pakistan added Israel itself.

I’ve tried watching Jon Stewart over the years and have found him insufferable. This interview goes beyond unfair. After three years of “Globalize the Intifada” protests, encampments, harassment, and violence against Jews across the country, this interview was gaslighting. The antizionist “genocide” libel was in full swing before Israel entered Gaza. The so-called sources of evidence are one big circle jerk. Instead, he gives the mob a pass and amplifies their narrative. His progressive friends who support Mamdani and El-Sayed are clapping. He’s complicit with them.

How any decent American can support a candidate with family and associates tied to the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, and other Islamist groups, while also aligning himself with figures like Hasan Piker, is beyond the pale. Interesting positioning by you and @ianbremmer. Hezbollah has made the border uninhabitable, and the LAF has shown that it can’t or won’t disarm them. In that reality, the IDF staying in southern Lebanon isn’t just justified, it’s necessary. This is what years of ignoring UNSC 1701 bought, Hezbollah dug in, the world looked away, and now it’s a multifront war. Spare us the both sides drama. Hopefully, Aoun and Rubio can produce something that’s actually enforced. Though none of it really matters as long as IRGC support keeps flowing. That’s the root of problem.
