How Google created its Gemini AI demo video

GIGANTIC PR FAIL ... why do this? This one major announcement video faux pas puts a spotlight on the CONFIRMATION of shady EVIL negatives surrounding the FORMERLY "Don't Be Evil" organization. We all sorta know that the reputation for fudging the truth and all of conspiracy theories have some merit ... but WHY do THIS? The actual Gemini product itself, like the new #Pixel8Pro AI phone, is really not all that bad ... probably ... freethink.com/robots-ai/gemi… ... After all Gemini IS measurably better than ChatGPT4 in the MMLU benchmark ... So the real question is WHY did Google still need to have its thumb on the scale? WHY was it compelled to cheat?

Why would Google fake this video instead of letting the product speak for itself? All signals show that Gemini is a great model but now people are writing articles about this video instead. This seems like a PR fail.

Maybe AI can address the intelligence problem which is about reducing labor market frictions. Can talent instantly locate situations offering legit pay-for-value employment? Can employers find solutionists rather than needy jobseekers who are just seeking permanent entitlement?
