@MaTTicon_ @RGIII @OuttaPocketRG3 By today’s rules, you can get flagged for merely hurting the quarterback’s feelings.

@ThoughtfulSaint Why are you so quick with the insults? Why make it personal?

@GnosticPhag @billybinion Even if the police are acting reasonably to catch a criminal, society as a whole should share the cost of law enforcement—not one unlucky bystander who happened to get caught in the crossfire.

@billybinion The slow pace of justice, even when you eventually “win,” is injustice. A person can die of old age in six years. It’s a long time! And many cases involving the various forms of government immunity go for even longer.

@Kinger_DC I just have to think that only a tiny percentage of law enforcement officers who abuse Flock ever get caught. And what about Flock employees, who sit like Saruman in his tower with the Palantir seer stones? Who is watching Flock?

@Latter_day_Jon @stackerco My teenage son said something to me when he was leaving Mormonism that stuck with me: “Dad, this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Standing alone against family, friends, teachers, and priesthood leaders takes courage.”

@UteOutsider It’s a long season. Both teams have tough games ahead, including a head-to-head matchup and potential conference championship against Texas Tech. Just watch and enjoy.

@ENBrown The Incredible Shrinking Fourth Amendment. As technology advances, expectations of privacy retreat. Courts doomed the Fourth Amendment when they tied these issues together.

@bfredbaker @instapundit Trump got elected to do three things: 1. Rename the Gulf of Mexico, 2. Start a war with Iran and drive up gas prices, and 3. Modify the 1951 Greenland deal. These were the big issues on voters’ minds.

@MattMorseTV So, it’s basically like the 1951 deal?

@stackerco Even worse, the Lord God Almighty—Even Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, Whose Course Is One Eternal Round, the Same Today as Yesterday, and Forever—will kill his own children and then banish their souls forever if their beliefs change.

@UtahUUU @jlinehan9 I don’t doubt this. But what you are actually weighing is pedigree, not early rankings. Teams like Alabama and Ole Miss get two “freebies” every season. Texas almost got three “freebies” in 2025. Teams like BYU or Utah get one “freebie.”

@UtahUUU @jlinehan9 If BYU had beaten Texas Tech either time, BYU would have advanced to the CFP. As a Big XII team, BYU controls its destiny. Early rankings don’t matter.

@UtahUUU @jlinehan9 The rankings really really don’t matter in September. If BYU beats Notre Dame and Utah, they will advance to CFP. If BYU loses these games, they won’t advance.
