Pavement rehabilitation on the Horrocks Highway between Undayla and Rhynie will begin in April 2022, and is expected to be complete June 2022. Lane restrictions will be in place from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 1pm on Saturday. See detour map for alternate route.

Congrats to @RAAofSA for outlining the greatest unfunded road safety challenges for next 25yrs - road maintenance and duplication of major highways. To quibble, $600m over 4 years ($150m per year) on road maintenance seems low - $800m total or $200m pa would be better👍

@brentonscroop None of those articles relate to head on crashes on divided, duplicated highways. Two are not on duplicated roads (i.e. with median divisors), and the first and the last are not head on crashes. @CASR_RoadSafety has good research on what different interventions mean for safety
