I've always believed that in order to become proficient in this business(or any business but especially in the trading business), you need to be a stubbornly positive thinking person. The "glass is always half full" mindset has to be ingrained in your DNA because you're going to make mistakes, many mistakes. Some will be your fault, some will be silly mental errors, some will be pure bad luck, but in the end, the buck stops with you. Accept that. How you choose to respond, handle and react to these temporary setbacks will ultimately decide what you make of it. Beating yourself up for missed trades or bad trades is a warning sign of emotions seeping into your process and that your next trade, if done immediately afterwards, is likely going to be based on emotions. And you know that most of these rarely play out how you expect them to. You have to MOVE ON and make each trade based on its own merit. The best traders will MOVE ON effortlessly from one trade to the next regardless of what the outcome was on the previous one.

@DBookTrading Yup with shares though imo it’s the easiest way to scale up in size over time. You can slowly ease into bigger position sizing versus with options you run into problems with more size (you really shouldn’t need too much size with options anyways if you’re doing it right)
