😶 Metrics show that #Iran's internet blackout is ongoing into its 79th day in its twelfth week. The mass-censorship measure has reshaped the nature of civic participation with information controls being used to relegate the general public to mere observers in their own country.
⏱️ It's now the 66th consecutive day of #Iran's internet blackout with the censorship measure surpassing 1560 hours. Despite the distribution of some international access via pro-regime channels, metrics confirm that there is still no restoration of service to the general public.
🗓️ Exactly eight weeks have passed since 28 February when #Iran was placed under a regime-imposed internet blackout. The disruption, now entering its 57th day after 1344 hours, stifles the voices of Iranians, leaves friends and family out of touch and damages the economy.
⌛️ Network data show #Iran's internet blackout is now in its 44th day, continuing in its seventh week past the 1032 hour mark. The human and economic impacts of the extended censorship measure continue to pile up, breaking global records for shutdowns in a connected society.
