Why? because Strategy has 10x more assets than debt which means they can suffer a 90% drowdawn and still be able to fully repay bondholders. $STRC is trading like dogshit because mentally illed degenerates have bought it with insane leverage and they are getting wiped out. They deserve it. With rates going down after oil normalisation and Bitcoin in the final phase of the bear market Saylor just need to sit on his cash/btc for enought time to let the market recover. $STRC will lean toward par on his own.

100% agree with Samson, no hike in yield, slowly rebuild reserves and keep paying the div until Bitcoin recover. They have the instruments to do it easily and with no rush. It will go back to par on his own. Also raising the yield put a backstop on a trade that has been used the wrong way. Leveraged degen must understand there is no backstop for them. Yields must be increased if there is a shock on the treasury value big enough to meaninfully alter the credit profile of the product which is not the case here.

Nice comparison, I remember those days and somehow it felt similar. The only difference I admit is back in those days with Bitcoin it was much harder to understand the right way probably because we were all a bit unprepared on many different angles it touched. This is one of a long list of monkeys posting fud every 5 minutes on Strategy. I'll do the math for him just to underlying how far from reality this liars are: I'll round it to make it simpler: - Strategy as ~60bln in liquid assets; - Strategy as ~6bln in debt (convertible notes); In a company default the average recovery rate is ~20% which means if you were expected to get 100 at bond expiry, instead you gonna get 20cents for each 1$ on average as a bondholder. Strategy assets are 10x his debt. Which means that the company can suffer a 90% drowdawn in his assets and still be able to fully repay bondholders (i.e. recovery rate would be 100% even after another 90% drawdown). No wonder that convertible arbitrage portfolio managers, who own the converts and are professional players, currently assign zero principal risk to their investment (converts trading above par). For this idiot here, Saylor should dissolve the company... Do you understand the level of fud and cognitive dissonance?
