@WatchChad And here I go again with the tears. Every prayer you post grabs me, awakens me, fills me up with humility. This one, especially, seems to have my name on it. And as I pray these words to my Father in Heaven, I bow my head and I cry. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. Amen.

Pray with me August 23, 2026 Father, Thank You that my life is no longer defined by who I was, what I have done, or what I have failed to do. My life is hidden with Christ in You. Your Word declares, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). Today I rest in that assurance. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me (Galatians 2:20). The old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). I am not trying to earn a place in Your family. Through Christ, I have been brought near, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, and made Your own. When accusation comes, remind me that Jesus has already answered it at the cross. When shame speaks, remind me that I have been justified by faith and have peace with You through my Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). When fear whispers that I might be abandoned, remind me that nothing can separate me from Your love in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). Father, assure my heart that eternal life is not merely something waiting for me after death. Eternal life has already begun in Christ. Jesus said, “Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life” (John 5:24). I belong to Him now. I am known by Him now. I am held by Him now. Teach me to live like someone who has passed from death to life. I do not have to be ruled by fear because You have given me the Spirit of adoption by whom I cry, “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15). Your Spirit bears witness with my spirit that I am Your child (Romans 8:16). So today I refuse to build my assurance upon my emotions, circumstances, performance, or the opinions of others. I build it upon Christ. Jesus is enough. His blood is enough. His righteousness is enough. His resurrection is enough. His promise is enough. And because He lives, I will live also. Keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. Let my obedience flow from security rather than anxiety, gratitude rather than fear, and love rather than the desperate attempt to prove myself worthy. My life belongs to Christ. My past is forgiven. My present is held by grace. My future is secure in Him. And whether I live or die, I am the Lord’s (Romans 14:8). Thank You, Father, that the life You have given me in Christ cannot be manufactured by this world, and therefore cannot be taken away by this world. I am Yours. Christ is mine. And my life is secure in Him. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

NEW: I’m told by federal source that ICE has arrested roughly 300 Haitian nationals in the state of Ohio alone in recent days, as the agency is now considering transitioning into a find & arrest approach after giving Haitians several weeks to turn themselves in to ICE offices since TPS officially ended on July 27th. I’m told to expect arrests of Haitians to begin to significantly ramp up soon as ICE starts to prioritize tracking down those who never checked in.

MAN GETS 20½ YEARS FOR BRUTAL ATTACK ON ROMANTIC PARTNER A D.C. man who prosecutors say stabbed his romantic partner multiple times and lacerating her jugular vein, was sentenced today to 20½ years in prison. James Callen, 42, attacked the woman in July 2024 after she told him she did not want to move in with him, according to prosecutors. She began bleeding out, and Callen eventually called 911. She survived. Prosecutors say Callen later repeatedly called the victim from the D.C. Jail despite a no-contact order and tried to convince her that she had accidentally injured herself. The jury also heard evidence of a pattern of abuse: prosecutors say Callen broke her leg in 2023 and gave her two black eyes in 2024. U.S. Attorney @JudgeJeanine “Callen’s brutality nearly cost this woman her life.” Callen will also serve five years of supervised release.
