I wish I could introduce myself this way at work. Some people would laugh and nod and some people would refuse to work with me. And then there would be a couple wise-guys who say “your name isn’t Michelle.”
Just introduced myself at a work meeting as: "Hi I'm Michelle, I'm a writer and I love mushrooms" to which everyone responded: "We know!" Have a feeling this is gonna be my decade 😎
My wife left me a to-do list the other day. It wasn’t until the end of the day that I noticed the last to-do. #ESL or #Freudianslip? Either way it made me laugh.
@KylieSchachte Also, how did you get your book sold? I have yet to get published (but yet to try) and have been writing for the past 10 years. I pretty much have a novel in a final place, finally. What now?? Any suggestions. Would love some advice from a real writer!
@KylieSchachte Hey Kylie. I feel for you! Writers block sucks and it hits us all!! I find you just need to write through it, even if your writing is shit (and be ok with it being shit). You’ll end up going back to it and it will form the bones of something you edit into gold. Just go forward.

Drank 6 Lts of water yesterday. Goal is to get another 6 Lts down today before an early bedtime. Stayed at 3000 m last night. Today we go up to base camp and will leave for the summit (5700 m) at 1 am Saturday morning! #Citlaltépetl!
@psychadelia1 Completely agree. Almost all evidence so far has been anecdotal. Why do you think I’m running my own #microdosing experiment? In lieu of any hard evidence, the anecdote I’m most willing to trust would be my own! And I’ll of course share with everyone interested to know. ;)

@TheDailyShroom I think it depends what you are looking for. I’ve macrodosed a good amount in the past and opened up my world. Now I’m looking to improve performance - creativity, connectivity & cognition - with #microdosing.

I like to think of #microdosing as helping us find the right harmonic for life - hitting a frequency which will vibrate and amplify all the natural richness around us. But I like the idea of a #psychedelicvitamin as well. :)

I told my son last night that social media is often an exercise in vanity and that the people he is trying to impress by being ‘cool’ are the same people who will forget him for the next cool thing. Real life happens outside. I still can’t imagine what it’s like to grow up now.
Hopefully I’m headed in the right direction!
