@JJsRandR @SkySportsLyall Haha yeah I'd say keeper,striker, maybe left sided forward are the areas of weakness of outside looking in. If those positions were filled with similar level spend/ players could do very well, especially with 1 game a week 👍🏻

@JJsRandR @SkySportsLyall Fair enough, I mean with those 2 deals I think spurs have the highest net spend in the country, so it's not like they haven't done anything previously I guess is my point. However I get the wages point, think this started to change last year maybe with Gallagher?

@TheShoeArmy1897 I played against David Busst, post horrific leg break after he retired pro. Was still literally everywhere, read the game amazingly, won everything in the air, great on the ball, and that's with half a leg missing

@avfc_stef Ultimately he's Guna be a back up I assume isn't he.He will be cheap and like you say better than Garcia. We have extremely limited funds and they need majority of that to bolster a front line which has already lost Elliott & Sancho.

@avfc_stef I know it's not a proper link, but I really like him as a player. Would need good mobile wide players probably which we don't have, so feels very unlikely as your buying him plus at least 2 others.

@avfc_stef Considering we're always having to sell players every summer just to comply with rules and barely spending anything for multiple windows now, adding a 300k a week + wage seems like something we shouldn't be considering I'm not guna lie

@sturae229 I think there's 2 things here at play though 1. His wages I believe are massive, so the pool of clubs who will take him are smaller and the club wants to (I assume) not have that financial liability hanging over them 2.pretty confident he wants to leave (unfortunately)

@MattyVsTheWorld Assume Trafford & chevalier will be too expensive (have my doubts on chevalier physically in epl) quite like the look of risser but small sample size in top league. Be interesting to see what we would do if Martinez is off

@pranav_m28 Top clubs feel they can't miss out on players, and the way they built the rules means every other club needs maximum value for their players. It's a byproduct of the environment those clubs have created really.

@MrWayneGarton @avfc_david Issue with chevalier is he's not great at claiming crosses. Which is a big worry in EPL for me, especially with corners being a battle field every game.

@HCfootball01 Probably won't ever happen, because the bigger clubs with the money never want to miss out on a player, and the other clubs have to extract maximum value because the rules stop them from competing unless they sell well.
