Isn’t that ironic? You’re so focused & negatively attached to the number; that you end up NOT doing the work critical to achieving the number. In recruitment and in sales; there’s the good, the bad, and the ugly. That’s the game.
What’s ‘tougher’? - Coaching my sons 3-4 year old football (soccer) team or Coaching my team of 360 (Full Desk) recruiters… Both are tough! But the kids play with freedom & no expectations of themselves. Just pure heart & trust in the process. Can we learn from that?

@gregberge In sales leadership, it’s one of the most difficult steps for a sales person (IC). Coached for so long to look out for yourself, for ‘No1’ and driven by PERSONAL monthly, quarterly, annual sales quotas. Then suddenly BANG, here’s 4-5 others you need to turn up for.

Searches drift because the recruiter ‘reacts’ rather than running the process. If you don’t set expectations, drive the timeline, and take real client/candidate control from day 1; you’re playing roulette for $. Retained isn’t a luxury model, it’s a necessity for predictable $
