@TarunAwsom28989 For a refund, I'd bind the approval to the exact order, amount and currency. If $25 becomes $250, that needs a fresh approval, even from the same user.

@lukepierceops For #10, I'd add the restart steps too. If a shop takes orders by hand during an outage, those need matching up with the queue before it replays them.

@Timieweb B. In Postgres, try UPDATE stock SET qty = qty - 1 WHERE id = $1 AND qty > 0 RETURNING qty. No returned row means no unit was reserved.

@Voxyz_ai For that merge-tag preview, try a long product title too. Order emails can wrap badly with the real catalogue, even when the short sample looks fine.
