In the last month I’ve had 4.. FOUR realtors I work with tell me the homeowners that turned us down for remodels and or a new build are having nightmare experiences with the cheaper contractor they chose. Liens, lawsuits, money stolen, horrible work etc. Mixed feelings because I hate to hear it but I also love to hear it.

I normally don’t fix other contractor mistakes, but I’m doing this as a favor for realtor (who sold more homes in dollar amount than any other realtor in DFW last year) who’s childhood friend had her house remodeled. $2M house. It’s a disaster. Not one appliance fits in its hole. Many cabinets need to be rebuilt. Doors have water damage, tile is bad, lights and mirrors are crooked. 🤦🏼♂️ idk where to begin. These people are over budget and the previous contractor ran off with roughly $80,000 and didn’t finish. Nightmare. Gonna be a headache and not much money in this, but I’ll make a homeowner happy by fixing and finishing and continue a good relationship with the realtor.
