This is Chad Eberle, a reserve police officer in Texas. Chad has a child with a Mexican woman, and they were in a custody dispute. Chad drove into Mexico and killed three people in relation to this dispute, as well as shooting the mother in the head. He was arrested trying to cross back into Texas with his son. This story hasn't gotten much traction, but we all know that if a Mexican man came to America and did this, it would be on a 24 hour loop on Fox News.

When you are a sailor at sea you are part of a department. Each department has duties that are like a 40 hour workweek and on top of that, each individual is assigned to a watch. The normal watch schedule while at sea is called five and dime. 5 hours of watch time 10 hours off. The normal workweek at sea is Monday thru Saturday. The watch schedule rotates based on the 5 and dime schedule. Combine these starting the moment a ship sets sail. At seas sailors work a 6 day week from 7 to 5 and also are on the five and dime rotation. Then there are daily drills that can happen at any moment day or night while on the water. Man overboard requires everyone to report and be counted. If one person is not, the shit really just the fan. Fire drills are ship wide but can happen anywhere and each department and individual is assigned a station for each drill. Then you have General quarters. A four hour drill where each individual ship wide is assigned a specific place to be during an attack. There is a reasons sailors get drunk while in port. And there is a port schedule too, so you don’t ever really get to relax. To be at se for the amount of time the USS Abraham Lincoln has been at sea is a failure of this administration. All to distract from the president’s crimes against children. Shame on every American who isn’t finding ways to be LOUD.
