Trading full-time sounds cool until:
•You’re in drawdown
•Rent’s due
•You’re forcing trades to pay your expenses
This game punishes desperation
Having an income outside of the charts will level up your trading
Seek the Lord and he will reveal wisdom in which you normally could not understand on your own.
The Holy Spirit is like a cypher to heavenly things. Our worldly, minuscule intellect cannot comprehend the holiness, abundance, love and grandness of God.
But when we die to ourselves, and we loosen our hearts and call on him. He reveals these things to us that help sharpen our faith and understanding.
“Do not rely on your own understanding”

Stop Lying to Yourself: 3 Powerful Questions Every Futures Trader Must Ask
Been doing some psychology work lately and thought I’d share something that’s helped me.
They say a lot of your problems in life could be solved if you just had an honest conversation with yourself
so I said shi , why not apply that to trading too?
Question 1:
What is your definition of success in trading , and what does it look like?
Visualize it. Whether it's paying your car insurance with trading profits, reaching financial freedom, or living in that foreign country you've always dreamed of, it has to be your vision, not someone else’s. Get specific. What does success actually mean for you?
Question 2:
What is currently standing in the way of that vision?
Be brutally honest its only you seeing your answers. Is it over sizing? Fear? Impatience? Lack of discipline? Avoiding the truth only delays your progress. Name the things that are directly halting your growth.
Question 3:
What actions are you going to take to eliminate those obstacles , with immediate start?
This is where things change. What will you implement to stop those habits from continuing to hold you back? Be clear and intentional. These are your action steps toward becoming the trader you want to be.
The way you go about this is up to you. You can write the answers down, say them in your head, or do what I do and add them to your trading journal. But the key is to actually answer them, honestly. At the end of the day why lie to yourself, your all you have?
Ask yourself these question with intent to change and gain control over your trading
NQ inversion Short, 20.06.2025

Overall decent week
Dreyfus model of skill acquisition in futures trading Pt.2
Criticisms:
Flaws of the Dreyfus Model, specifically in the context of trading relates to the expert stage. I understand what the model means when it says experts operate more on intuition, and you can clearly see this in action when watching experienced traders. They're often more accurate in reading price action or identifying liquidity, largely due to hours of accumulated live screen time and pattern recognition.
However, the flaw lies in the idea that true mastery goes beyond rules. While that may apply,I believe that in trading, rules are never truly abandoned. At a minimum, all traders regardless of experience operate with a set of basic and advanced principles that guide their behavior. These rules may evolve or become more flexible over time, but they’re always present in some form.
Intuition, in trading, doesn’t replace rules it highlights them. It might come into play when a trader chooses to push the boundaries of their rules or apply discretion and subjectivity that less experienced traders don't have, but it never fully overrides the need for discipline, risk management, and process.
Final thought is that the Dreyfus model is applicable to apply to trading when remembering the process and removing pressure of you to remind yourself things take time, but when it comes to the expert level or even stages prior never forget your rules

A process of skill acquisition typically goes through five developmental stages :
The Five Stages of Skill Acquisition
Novice:
Learners follow rules without subjectivity, with little understanding of context.
A new trader may rely heavily on textbook strategies without understanding market conditions.
Advanced Beginner:
Learners begin to recognize patterns and situational aspects, though they still need guidance.Rules are applied more flexibly, and they start to relate them to specific scenarios.
A trader here might notice when a strategy works better in certain market conditions, but cannot yet consistently apply it.
Competent:
Individuals can develop plans and make conscious decisions based on experience.
A trader might not take a set up because based on experienced days like CPI he doesn't perform well
Proficient:
Learners develop intuitive grasp of situations
A proficient trader starts to understand the "feel" of the market combined with gut instincts
Expert:
Performance are fluid, automatic, and highly responsive to subtle cues.
Expert traders are able to take certain set ups due to market experience that i novice following the exact same rules isn't allowed to take
The Dreyfus Model of Skill Acquisition, developed by brothers Stuart and Hubert Dreyfus, outlines how individuals progress through five distinct stages of learning, from novice to expert,as they acquire new skills through instruction and experience. This model describes the mental activities involved in skill development, emphasizing a shift from rule-based learning to intuitive performance. For most people, the journey to expertise takes an average of 10 years or approximately 10,000 hours of focused practice. Interestingly, research suggests that only about 5% of individuals ever reach true expert status in any given field, highlighting both the complexity and rarity of genuine mastery.
However, it’s important to note that this doesn’t mean you can’t make money in the markets unless you’ve been trading for 10+ years. Even a novice can find some type of success , But the key takeaway is that trading is a process. Mastery takes time, and real consistency comes from experience, not shortcuts.
So, take the pressure off yourself. Don’t expect to trade like an expert if you haven’t yet put in the hours to develop that level of skill. Focus on learning, managing risk, and staying disciplined
Profit will follow as a byproduct of progress
The reason trading is so hard is because of the unnecessary pressures we put on learning phases.
For example loads of us try trading like experts even though based of things like the Dreyfus Model of Skill Acquisition, Expertise in a skill can take > 10,000 hours or 10y+
Intentionally posted my struggles first before showing my first ever payout I received with Topstep this week,
to show it wasn’t through perfection or luck that got me here and was through perseverance and hard work.

€1243, maybe that’s not much to some of you, but to me, it was 3 to 4 weeks of kitchen porter work while studying full-time at university.
Back then, I was mentally drained.
The dark voids, the exhaustion, the loop of self-sabotage. I lived it.
Some traders never feel that side. But I did. And I stayed in it longer than I care to admit.
I used to hear the clichés:
“Trading is 99% psychology. A battle with yourself.”
I brushed it off.
Months later, I was deep in it , chasing setups, trading for validation, suppressing guilt every time I typed in my card details for another reset.
I’d get a decent trade, screenshot it, send it to the group chat , acting like it was my money lol.
Hoping maybe I could get lucky again.
Maybe pass.
Maybe feel like I did something.
But when the loss came (and it always came), everything crumbled.
One loss? Panic.
Two? I re-entered.
Three? I sized up.
Four? I chased.
Account blown. Again.
I burned my hand on the stove so many times and it still stings.
For the past few months, I stepped away from social media.
I needed to re-evaluate what I truly want and stop chasing the image of trading.
What I found was simple:
I don’t want the image. I want mastery.
I want peace.
I want to be consistent.
Since then, Alhamdulillah, real progress has been made in both my mindset and my results.
I'm no longer trading for screenshots or group chat validation.
I'm trading for me.
For the life I dream of.
I'm far from perfect and still a humble student of the markets.
But I’ve been coming out of my hyperbolic chamber.
This is just the beginning.
And if you’re in the loop I was stuck in, I see you g.
You're not alone.
It doesn’t end with blowing accounts.
It ends when you decide to change.
Submit to the process.
More to come. Stay tuned.
Let’s be very clear about this tweet.
JESUS CHRIST
Will be and only be the one true living God
He’s done amazingly good things in my life.
I owe all my success and life to him and only him.
