@JamieKennedy Political campaigns may have learned that prediction markets like Kalshi also have the ability to influence voters. They can raise their candidate's visibility and influence the election by using campaign funds to place bets on their candidate and voters notice.

@tferriss Depends on how they deal with the chip capex problem. If they keep having to invest billions a year on infrastructure, how does that play out? Better if they move to an edge model with processing on device such as AAPL M series. Higher margins.

@KHOU @JRogalskiKHOU Downside of having critical infrastructure services run by a public company is that their objective is to maximize shareholder value, not customer satisfaction. Made worse by CenterPoint being the ONLY choice. The $6.5B in ‘23 profit should’ve been used to improve infrastructure.

@Casey @WholeFoods Agree! It’s surprising that a grocery store owned by a technology company (Amazon) would have the worst self checkout. HEB is not great (no ApplePay), but it’s way better than @WholeFoods . And I like the people at Whole Foods anyway too, so….
