Definitely still a draft, but I've been enjoying the custom @OmniFocus widget I made with @WidgetPackApp josh-hughes.com/omnifocus-widg… Think calendar events are next on the list.
I've submitted version 1.3.0, which will automatically select the last updated widget when you place one on the homescreen
@marciton Sure, you can modify the shortcut to add the background
@RowanStrang I doubt it, unfortunately. This is probably some trickery only available to Apple
@The_Manoeuvre Scale to fill is for determining how the image should fill its container, so whether it should try to fit completely, or chop off the sides so it's as large as possible
@edgauthier This can take a long time, it's kind of dependent on iOS. The problem is that updating it many times in a short while causes the update process to be throttled, and then no updating happens for a whole hour. Not much I can do about it unfortunately.
@scottaw Nope, but you can run the same automation on multiple devices which might help!
