@wmrhinerson @greendragonhq Yes, efficiency increases as does productivity. And companies want to survive, which they have the right. Just seems like the job market doesn’t have the variety of opportunities it used to have. Which in the current economy is going to worsen.

@wmrhinerson @greendragonhq Hmmm. Per American Industrial June 2026 report, manufacturing job losses are at the highest rate since 2009, years excluding the pandemic. Production is up, due to automation. Companies are doing more with less and will continue to do so.

@DebDogsAndBooks @greendragonhq Unneeded covid expenses? Both presidents signed huge stimulus packages. Both parties are at fault for this. And there is no way to avoid inflation when most of the world’s supply chains are shut down and demand spikes. Prices and inflation were on downward trend in 2024.

@NagusNW @secupp It’s pathetic that so many idolize liars and fraudsters. I stated a simple fact. We have lost manufacturing and service jobs since the 60s. And BOTH parties are responsible. Wake up dude.

@Mikehomeseller The Who in the early 80s. Listened to them in college and was excited to see them. No crowd interaction and just seemed to be going through the motions. Saw the Police around the same time and they were a disappointment as well.

@NagusNW @secupp Corporate America has been shifting manufacturing and customer service jobs overseas since the 1960s and accelerating in the 70s and 80s. It’s laughable to think some politician in 2026 can say some magic words and reverse decades of destruction to the American economy.

@nolaluckyd70167 @NotAvgLiberal @grok The same logic applies to why we no longer lead in manufacturing. Companies went to China, India, Philippines, etc in droves. Cheaper and saving money has not helped this country.

@20th_Centurygal I can only imagine if social media existed during the 1960’s when protest was the norm. People feel they need to post their hate or dislike, like anyone cares. It’s a sad way to spend one’s life.

@MAGA_Dad00 @AmyMcGrathKY Agree with immigration being an issue. And Biden probably went too far, but we will never know the actual numbers. There are some issues I agree with Trump on, but running a 250-year-old country is not like running a private business.

@MAGA_Dad00 @AmyMcGrathKY Both were and are too old to be president. But one exhibited empathy, and the other shows callousness. A true leader shows compassion. A false leader shows contempt.

@BambBeeker @kaitlancollins Right. We’ve moved past newspapers and news channels to the digital equivalent of the grocery store tabloid. It’s far from an improvement.
