@KiwiCryptoNan @zerohedge Banks are a component of the economy. Surely as a farmer you recognize you have estimated income taxes due in April. Most jurisdictions in the US require 1st half property taxes to be paid in April. Those show as withdrawals from banks.

@BillAckman @SVB_Financial @jpmorgan @Citi @BillAckman I’m a bank CFO. Just about every bank has access to a product that can provide unlimited FDIC insurance above the $250K limit, or a sweep product backed by Govt bills. All you have to do is ask.

@Rick_Zullo @BillAckman I appreciate that sentiment @Rick_Zullo. I’m a community bank CFO. We have products that can provide unlimited FDIC insurance to customers above the traditional $250K limit. SIVB could have, too, if the VC community not decided to just put a run on the bank.

@TheStalwart Why is everyone just focusing on the MV of bank securities? Yes, securities are excess liquidity, but loans and deposits also have economic value. Most banks, if you also valued their loan and deposit books, would have TBV well in excess of current market price.

@TheStalwart So you’re only going to run on banks that have excess liquidity that gets marked to market, but you’re not going to run on banks with no investment portfolio and have 100% of deposits in loans? Purely because the loans don’t have a FV mark that impacts TBV??

@TBPInvictus Reminds me of the Patriot and Freemen "movements" of the 90s. Basic claim is that as an individual you're a sovereign and you need to go through "steps" to reclaim your sovereign Independence from the illegally created and unconstitutional IRS or Fed.
