He began talking to it, singing it Grateful Dead songs and telling it jokes, which he said took his mind off his situation. Five hours after entering the water, freezing and exhausted, he reached the platform. "It started getting brighter and I'm just like, I'm crying. Shouting at the sky." Crew aboard hauled him out, warmed him up, and called the Coast Guard. He was airlifted to hospital and treated for hypothermia. The tow boat crew that later recovered his vessel said they couldn't believe he survived. "Even putting on a wetsuit, being prepared, getting in that water, and swimming to that platform was horrendous," one crew member said. “I can't imagine being in the water with shorts and a T-shirt at night. Together they planted around 16,000 trees, built miles of walking paths, and helped revive native wildlife populations. Over time, the island became a haven for thousands of birds and more than 100 Aldabra giant tortoises, one of the largest tortoise species on Earth. As tourism development spread across the Seychelles, Grimshaw rejected several massive offers for the island, including one reportedly worth $50 million. Rather than sell it to developers, he fought to ensure its long term preservation. Following his death in 2012, Moyenne Island was incorporated into the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, securing its future as a protected public nature reserve instead of a private resort.

This is a picture of my boss Miguel Guzman Jr. and one of our regular customers. She is blind. When she comes in Miguel reads the flyer to her and makes out her grocery list. He then takes her around the store to help her get everything she needs. He brings her up to the registers, puts everything on the belt to be scanned. Then bags them for her and loads her own personal cart. He's even been known to drive her home in bad weather. This takes a good amount of time out of his busy work day but he does it everytime with a smile. I'm proud to work for a company that goes above and beyond for their customers."
