As an American, I am outraged that my government is stealing resources that belong to the Venezuelan people, and embarrassed that an American president would actually brag publicly about such imperial behavior. Hope this policy will change in 2029.

Genuine question for all my Christian friends who support Donald Trump: Are y’all ok with this?
Just in the last 24 hours, we learned... 1. In 2021, Capital One closed the Trump Org's bank accounts after an anti-money-laundering review, not as retaliation for Jan 6. 2. Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. attorney in Washington, threw out a reflecting pool vandalism case, saying the cause was shoddy construction. 3. The Trump admin began refunding tariffs back to major corporations like Amazon and Apple who had charged and collected tariffs rev from consumers.
The only use for Christianity he has is how it can be manipulated for his own benefit.
So @FoxNews spent weeks talking about the “vandals” destroying the reflecting pool. Now the the Govt has admitted that Trump hired terrible contractors who screwed it up and dropped the charges against the “vandal” our friends at @FoxNews have no coverage of that fact. So in the minds of most Fox viewers, it was still vandalized. They are the worst.

One thing that people learned early in the Trump years is that when reason, logic, and/or morality collided with Trump, then Trump had to win. That was the cult's central command. Do that long enough and reason, logic, and (especially) morality themselves become evidence of disloyalty and are ultimately purged from the movement. It's risky to have ethical lines and standards. And so here we are, with a "generation of rabid, incompetent idiots" dominating so much of the young right.
