I read this on fb and I wanted to share it with you all. Nailed it on the head. 👇 As I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone. You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind! • If a man pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him. • Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America. • Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good. • It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it. • People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves. • People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees. • Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated. • Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome. • $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not. • If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free. • People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President. • We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us. • Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now. • Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights. • And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?! Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China. We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right. Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and is sinking fast. The choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choice wisely!

Meditating this afternoon on the truth of assurance of salvation. What has typically been called the "perseverance of the saints" sits solidly on God’s sovereign commitment to complete what He has begun in believers’ lives. God pledges to bring to completion the good work He started in believers at the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:6), establishing a foundation that transcends my weakness and circumstance. Christ promises that those who follow Him will never perish because no one can snatch them from His hand or the Father’s hand (John 10:27–29). This dual security, held by both Christ and the Father, reveals an unbreakable grip. Nothing in creation: whether death, life, spiritual forces, present circumstances, or future events, can separate Christians from God’s love in Christ (Rom 8:38–39). The robustness of this list removes the possible threat to salvation. God’s faithfulness grounds this doctrine. All whom the Father gives to Christ will come to Him, and Christ will lose nothing of what has been entrusted to Him (John 6:37–40). God’s gifts and calling are irrevocable (Rom 11:29), they do not hinge on changing circumstances or human performance. The Lord is faithful and will establish and guard believers against the evil one (2 Thess 3:3). The work of the Holy Spirit provides active protection. Thank goodness I as a Christian am sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who serves as a guarantee of our inheritance (Eph 1:13–14). By God’s power, those found in Christ are guarded through faith for salvation ready to be revealed at the last time (1 Pet 1:3–5). Christ is able to save completely those who approach God through Him, since He continually intercedes for them (Heb 7:25). This treasured Scriptural truth punctuates that those whom God foreknew and predestined are also called, justified, and glorified -- a chain of divine action that ensures completion (Rom 8:29–30). It's a progression moveing from eternity to final glorification, with no breaking point. All who believe in Christ will have eternal life and be raised up on the last day (John 6:37–40), and believers may know with certainty that they possess eternal life (1 John 5:13). If you are a Christian rejoice in this reality, and if you are not a Christian let me tell you about the most amazing assurance you could ever experience!

Every American, regardless of race, color, creed, ethnicity, state, political party or church, should watch this clip and watch it all. We have been warned!

Sometimes this prayer is exactly what I need. Hope it helps someone out there today. Good morning Father, I thank you for you and your kingdom. Forgive me Lord for my sins, known and unknown. Thank you for the blood of Jesus that washed sins away from me. I also forgive those who sin against me. Even the ones who I do not even know about. I forgive them all and release them back to you. I resist you satan and you must flee from me. I pray in the Spirit with all kinds of prayers and requests. I am alert. (Ephesians 6:10-18) I set my will to be obedient to everything You tell me to do. I appropriate the benefits of the blood of Jesus over myself and my family and all that concerns us. I receive all that was accomplished on the cross of Jesus Christ for me and my family. Kingdom of darkness, you listen to me. I hold the blood of Jesus over all things pertaining to me and I forbid you having anything to do with me and my family members (I speak all the names of my family members, husband, kids, spouses and their mates, my siblings and my husband’s siblings and their families, my living parent/s his and in law’s - you have the authority !!). You and your agents of darkness cannot touch us. You cannot touch our properties, pets, finances, physical and mental health, our places of school and work, professions and the tools we use, the governments in which we are seated (city, county, state and US). In the Name of Jesus and in the authority He gives (Luke 10:19), over myself and all my family members, I break every hex, vex, spell, incantation, all voodoo, black magic, white magic, prayers of witches and warlocks, all psychic and soul-ish prayers, all forms of witchcraft, all negative words and word curses, all negative soul ties, and all generational curses on all sides of my family, sent out against us. I break that power, cancel those assignments and effects, and render it all powerless in the mighty name of Jesus. Father I ask you to send your angels on our behalf today (Hebrews 1:14) to keep us all on the paths of righteousness for Your namesake and to go before us to accomplish everything You would have us do today. I bind our bodies, souls, and spirits to Your will, Lord Jesus. (Matthew 16:19). Order our steps Lord and use us all for Your glory. May others see Jesus in my life today. Amen.

My son, One day, when you're older, you will come across this post and this video of the two of us walking up into the mountains. I hope you watch it more than once. We always begin the same way. You go bounding off ahead, certain the whole mountain belongs to you, and for a little while it does. Then the path gets steep. The air gets thinner and your legs get tired. You stop, you turn, and you look back at me and say: Dad, is the view really worth it? I will tell you a secret. I ask myself the same question. I'm climbing my own mountains you can't see yet, fighting things I hope you never have to fight, and some days the weight of it all feels like more than I can carry. Mom and I both put on a brave face, but it isn't always brave underneath. There are mornings I feel I am carrying the whole mountain rather than walking up it. But that's not a flaw in you or me, it just is what the journey is. You will meet climbs that burn your legs, there will be days when every step asks more than you think you have, and there will be MANY MANY times when turning back seems the only sensible thing thing to do ...don't be ashamed of wanting to. Everyone wants to turn back. But WANTING to turn back, and not doing it... well my son, that is the stuff strength is made of. There will be days when everything feels uphill. When the world feels unfair, and you’ll wonder why it has to be so hard. The summit will never stoop to meet you and the path cannot be talked into being shorter. What changes... what is changing in you even now while you're reading this, and especially on days that feel like nothing but insane amount of work and heartache... ...is YOU. You are the thing that grows. The world stays gloriously, stubbornly large, and you rise to meet it. So climb. Not because it is easy, but because you were made for the climbing. And when at last you stand in the high place with the wind in your face and the whole green country spread beneath you, you will understand something that cannot be told to a man but only shown to him: that every aching step was a kind of payment, and the view was the thing it had been buying all along. It will not feel like a reward. It will feel like coming home to a country you have never been to, and somehow always missed. I will be there. Lower on the trail by then, most likely. Slower. Catching my breath against a stone. But I will be watching you go up, and there will be no prouder man on the entire freaking mountain than me... the man who is proud of the boy who simply will not stop putting one foot in front of the other. It is OUR money!! Thank you Mr Secretary Concerning Social Security payments, my contributions were made for over 40 years on every salary I received. Those jobs may not have always been the work I wanted to be doing at the time, BUT I always had a job. The Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment?" I'll be part of the one percent to forward this. I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it. The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment." This isn't a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes. Congress took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking. They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a "benefit", as if we never worked to earn every penny of it. Just because they borrowed the money doesn't mean that our investments were a charity! Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government. Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it. Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income. Please, for the sake of our country, share this message. It's important!!!
