@getjonwithit @davidbessis One of the issues with LLM research is that we can’t give the model examples of superhuman reasoning, so it’s stuck. It can get to “on par with the best human in any given field” but not much further. Hinton posits that RL could produce mathematical ability surpassing humans.

@thisiswenzel @gregisenberg But most Oracle customers don’t care about that. The don’t care about the cost, because they have plenty of money. The want the iron-clad support contract that will send a small army of consultants to solve any problem they have.

@lilgrapefruits I liked it, but I’m still bothered by the philosophical gaps. Amazing they took it on at all, but it ended up being a side show that got sacrificed for laughs whenever convenient.
