@deuterionxgeass @EcoTechBro My main point is I think the direct addressing will end up being a radical form of "land back". But I also think these systems do have a hard material basis. Like property they are social practices legitimizing certain actions which orchestrate the use of real resources.

@EcoTechBro By itself it would seem compatible with crude majoritarianism, and thanks to colonial history the great majority might have a basically extractive way of thinking about the land. I wonder if one can see "land back" as a constraint on collective decision making to avoid this.

@TheDavidPiv According to the notion of burden of proof the state is literally responsible for failing to prove their case. Your idea that we are all incarcerated (or dead) until a defence lawyer unleashes us back into society (possibly from beyond the grave) inverts reality.
