I’ve long believed transit should be free- especially in a country where it’s difficult to get frequencies that make it useable on a daily basis for most folks. RTD has free transit for the month of August and ITS WORKING Y’ALL. My buses are at least 2x as full these days.

@BeccaWolfley Great point. I’m talking sharepoint here, but worth a STRONG SHAMING of anyone who makes direct edits. In any platform. Like who do you think you are?!
One of my biggest professional pet peeves is when colleagues suggest document edits in comments vs making them in track changes. Like, don’t make me guess your thoughts to try and incorporate. Do the work yourself and toss out an idea we call all react to!

As part of earning a graduate degree, every architect, urban planner, and urban designer should be expected to spend at least a day or two shadowing someone with a significant mobility impairment.
This is ridiculous. Voters approved the plan and the funding for it. HB1279 directly opposes the will of the people. Shame on you, Indiana reps.
HB1279 will prevent IndyGo from implementing the plan for more frequent, reliable service across the city, not just the rapid transit projects with big infrastructure budgets. This is the plan 60% of Marion County voters decided to pay for with their own money.

People complain about empty buses (usually only those who have never been on transit) but no one seems to complain about all those overbuilt empty parking lots that litter our landscape.
