@danny_robins @XmasCarolLDN @Markgatiss @Yourallypally This was so good. Great production in a great venue! Love the Ally Pally theatre - not a bad seat in the house.

@WhistleblowingT We went phone-free last year, but invested in Yondr pouches. Students retain ownership of their phone (unless it's heard or seen outside of the pouch) throughout the day, but it's locked away. Not 100% perfect but pretty life-changing for our school.

@shadylady222 Get some of those plug in sonar things. Absolutely no idea if they actually work but at least you feel like you're doing something to combat them! I hate mice so I know how it feels 😫

@PastoralThings I'm a teaching HOY (Year 10). We sent out our September arrangements before we broke up in July. I've only done a quick post on Google Classroom last week and will do another, more detailed one, on one of our INSET days next week to remind them! It's been radio silence. 😂

@thosethatcan Keep boundaries and maintain perspective. It's an important job but it's a job. And we do nobody any favours by allowing it to run us into the ground. Accept that there will be busy patches in the calendar but try to stop it from bleeding over into 'real life'!

@Miss_Snuffy It's a joke that people are even getting upset by this video. It's Chelsea Handler. She's a comedian. She's making comedy. Why has everyone just become such hard work now? 🤦‍♀️

@Sheena2907 @UnofficialOA 100%. I'm a HOY and I now stop any story that begins with "so basically, yeah" and ask them to rephrase. I'd like to think it sends a subtle hint that I am already sceptical of what they're about to say 😂

@TeachersRunClub Local for me, but back after a month off. Squeaked a 5k PB, which is surprising after a week of excessive eating, drinking and inactivity in Italy. 😱

Quote from my friend, the master of understatement and deliverer of truth bombs: I'm not sure I can do anymore of this school malarkey. Seconded! @emo4819 @Mr_H1978
