@carolynhparrish The only reason it is sitting diagonally is because it is surrounded by a grid of wide, straight roads. Why not reimagine the surrounding district and enhance what is already there? Removing parts of Princess Royal Dr and Living Arts Dr could form a new expanded park district.

@NoJetsTO I’m curious why the baseline noise from the Gardiner and general traffic isn’t figured into anyone’s arguments. Toronto is a chaotic and noisy place. How do a few more aircraft per day change the overall sound environment? Unfortunately downtown is anything but a natural oasis.

@jsquaredink In my experience, it’s particularly rideshare drivers that do as they please. They especially like doing sudden, non-signalled U-turns from the curb/bike lane, no matter who might be driving up behind them.

@AnthonyFarnell Two low hanging fruit: 1. Penalize ride share companies for their idiotic drivers (ie making U-turns at will and blocking curb lanes) 2. Enforcement at advanced greens to find distracted drivers. It’s unacceptable for 2 cars to turn left b/c someone is playing on their phone.
