New Yorkers are paying for the socialized rollout of intermittent wind and solar as the form of a “delivery charge” on your electric bill. They use taxpayer and ratepayer money, through @NYSERDA, to court foreign solar and wind developers. Since solar and wind aren’t reliable energy fixes for our grid, they need a disgusting amount of subsidies and credits to insulate the foreign corporations. And we pay for it.
