Finished up the Gokusen movie, and thus the live-action series. First half is an abridged episode of the show, 2nd half turns into a full-blown Yakuza game lol I still enjoyed it and the guest appearances of past students and what they're doing nowadays. Fun watch overall!

Just finished up Gokusen S3 More of the same. If anything the fact that it doesn't end like the last two seasons is surprising. Kuma being a mainstay was a funny surprise, but it was cool seeing his growth through the whole series. Last up is the movie to call it a wrap.

Finished up Gokusen Season 2 It's the same ol' but in a new school. It's 99% the same as season 1. But I still got misty-eyed by the end. It's a formula, but when you have a consistently strong charismatic cast of students and Yankumi, it still manages to work out.

Finished up Gokusen S1. A very formulaic story of “rough and tough teacher teaches a bunch of thuggish school kids with hearts of gold about life and friendship”, but still a fun formula! I liked it quite a bit. Now onto S2, with that crisp 1080p instead of the crunchy 480 lol

Can't believe it's been 10 years since Kabaneri came out. Despite the 2nd half, I enjoyed the series a lot and lamented over the lack of a 2nd season. It's okay though, we got to see the return of Mumei and Ayame via Bocchi the Rock (they share the same VAs)
