👤; “Everyone is pretty angry right now. That’s because they spent a lot of time and money to come see your concert. You need to take that into consideration as well. Since people are still upset, reading something like this will only make them even angrier”
I know very well that many of you spent a lot of time and money to come see us. I also know very well that no concert can ever be perfect or satisfy everyone. But more than anything, I just want even one more person who comes to our concerts to leave having had a happy time. That’s the mindset we had while preparing for this concert. That’s why I wanted to apologize to the people who were disappointed and explain where some of the misunderstandings came from, so I wrote this message. But if reading this only makes you even angrier, then honestly, I really don’t know what else I’m supposed to say ㅎㅎ…
To Villains who understand, thank you. Those of you who’ve been with us for a long time know that this is the first time I’ve ever written something like this. Ever since our debut, whenever there were ridiculous or unreasonable comments, I usually just ignored them. But today, I really felt like I had to say what was on my mind. If I just let this pass, I felt like I might start mistaking the small number of Lainz who treat me and our team like an emotional dumping ground for the fandom as a whole. And honestly if I kept holding it in this time too, I'm going to die of stress ㅋㅋㅋ..
Anyway, to everyone coming to tomorrow’s concert, please come safely. Let’s just have fun together first! I truly appreciate the constructive feedback that is not nitpicking and swearing at me for their own ridiculous personal reasons. Everything can’t become perfect all at once, but I’ll continue improving the things that I realistically can, little by little

I read through all the replies you sent me, and seeing that some Lainz were disappointed with today’s concert has honestly left me so upset that I can’t fall asleep
First, I saw that some people felt the concert was too short, but think it probably felt shorter than usual because there wasn’t 발롯코 (📝the segment where we walk around near the audience) but I really hope people won’t say things like, “They don’t care about Villains anymore,” or “They skipped it because they couldn’t be bothered.”
In fact, we really wanted to do it. Up until right before we arrived at the venue, we were fully expecting to. We had already planned which songs we’d sing while walking around. We even chose songs like “Strawberry Cake” and “Little Things,” songs that weren’t on the main setlist, and we had already decided what we’d perform both today and tomorrow. We were so excited to see Lainz up close and singing these together. But when we arrived at the venue, for reasons we ourselves still don’t know, the 발롯코 was suddenly canceled that same day. We had no choice but to skip it
I know Lainz couldn’t have known that, so I understand why people were even more disappointed. Still, when something like this happens, instead of immediately saying things like, “Why are you guys so lazy?” or “Now that you’ve gotten bigger, you think you’re something?” I hope you’ll first think, “Maybe there’s a reason why things turned out this way,” and not lose your trust in us
Actually, I was really upset too. That time is incredibly precious to us because it’s our chance to get closer to the people who traveled so far to see us and personally thank them. I’m so disappointed that we had to send Lainz home without being able to do that
I also saw a lot of Bubble messages saying the setlist was disappointing. I think setlists are naturally a matter of personal preference, so it’s completely understandable that people will have different opinions. Feedback like, “I hope you play this song next time,” is always welcome because we can actually use that when preparing future concerts.
But comments like, “Why did you put together such a lazy setlist?” or “This setlist makes it obvious you didn’t even care about the concert,” aren’t very helpful from our perspective. It just feels like you're venting your emotions in an immature way because you're angry and annoyed. If you want to give feedback, I think it would be more helpful to tell me where and how you were disappointed.
I can honestly say, hand on my heart, that every single time we make a setlist, we spend a huge amount of time thinking about how to make it fun for as many Lainz as possible without making it feel predictable. Of course, we think that’s exactly what we should be doing.
This concert’s theme was “Summer Hell,” so we built the setlist around that concept. I completely understand why people missed songs like Sucker Punch, Little Things, or Pluto. Even I felt a little strange because it’s been a long time since we’ve done a concert without those songs.
But at the same time, I thought only relying on our familiar songs would make things feel too predictable. That’s why we wanted to bring something fresh by including songs we rarely perform, like Undefined, and even songs we’d never performed before, like Joyful Joyful.
On top of that, we also had to prioritize including seven new songs, so it simply wasn’t possible to perform every song we wanted. Either way, if the setlist disappointed you, I’m truly sorry. I just hope you’ll understand that we didn’t throw it together carelessly or without thought.

I also saw messages asking why we performed fewer songs than at previous concerts. But I don’t think today’s concert actually had fewer songs.
We performed 25 songs + two encore, which isn’t very different from our previous concerts. I think because the 발롯코 wasn’t there, it made it seem like there were fewer songs. And Villains know especially than anyone how demanding our songs are. They’re incredibly high and physically exhausting to sing.. If performing even more songs became the standard expectation, our vocalists could genuinely end up damaging their voices, making it difficult for us to keep performing for a long time.. We’re the kind of people who genuinely think the most fun thing in the world is running around on stage, singing, and enjoying concerts together with Villains.
If our bodies and voices could handle performing 100 songs in a row without any problems, we’d honestly want to do all 100. That’s how precious performing with Villains is to us. I also hope you’ll understand that, with that mindset, we’re already performing as many songs as we realistically can..
I also saw comments asking when the sound quality would finally improve. I completely understand why people feel that way. I asked some acquaintances who attended today’s concert for feedback, and some thought the sound was fine while others felt it was disappointing. This might sound like an excuse, but I want to explain why mixing sound for our band is genuinely difficult.
We’re not a typical band with just one vocalist. We have multiple vocal microphones, and our songs cover an huge range of genres, from soft ballads to extremely heavy metal, all within the same concert which makes getting consistently great sound incredibly difficult. And as our venues get larger, the sound naturally varies depending on where you’re sitting, so some people end up having a great audio experience, while others don’t. That said, we also want to solve this with regret. so we’ve been working with different sound teams to find better solutions this year. We worked with a new team during the Awesome Festival, and today’s concert was also handled by a sound team we were collaborating with for the first time. They’re all incredibly talented professionals here in Korea. We’re also trying many different ways because we’re aware of these sound issues too, so we’ll continue doing everything we can to improve them as quickly as possible.
Anyway, I’m so sorry if you didn’t enjoy today’s concert because of the sound quality.
