TypeScript 7.0 is out. Native Go compiler, shared-memory multithreading, typical 8-12x full-build speedups. Huge for large TS codebases. Caveat: no stable programmatic API yet, so some tools/frameworks still need TS 6 for now. #TypeScript #SoftwareDevelopment #WebDevelopment

Builder takeaway from DeepMind’s AI Control Roadmap: Don’t start with “how autonomous can this agent be?” Start with “what is the blast radius if it gets something wrong?” Permissions, logs, sandboxes, alerts, rollback. That’s what makes agents shippable.

Claude Fable 5 is interesting because it can keep working without losing the plot. Anthropic says it migrated a 50M-line Ruby codebase in about a day. I’d still give it a branch, tests and limited permissions. Useful autonomy needs boundaries.
