@UnlockingAi @ThePrimeagen @zeeg I've noticed this and imo the best way is still to write tests yourself, or at least spec them out in detail. On the plus side, it forces you to focus on the inputs and outputs as well as the API and it may randomly surface some design issues that may not have appeared otherwise

@bj_goodwin @implausibleblog Again not sure why people are insisting on debating other topics. But yeah I guess if you're advocating for less state, spending etc you should start by advocating for middle class and upper middle class tax cuts, they are the ones paying proportionally higher rates.

@Jb164589 @implausibleblog That's a separate issue. Gabriel Zucman, who is suggesting this wealth tax, does so independently. He isn't in charge of the economic policy for the green party. And working class paying more taxes is actually counter to more tax fairness you'd have to take it up to whoever is...

@bj_goodwin @implausibleblog They can leave but they still owe taxes on whatever wealth is directly linked to the UK. Say they have mainly real estate wealth, either they leave and have to pay taxes on that, or they sell said property. A win/win for the state in both cases.

@sainttwittwer @implausibleblog They'll leave unless you make provisions that limit this. The USA already makes taxes mandatory for any citizen regardless of their country of residence (forever). They're not particularly communist so I'm not sure why the UK couldn't enforce something similar (less drastic)
